Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Cog & Cell (cogandcell.pages.dev, operated by Nik Kitson, sole proprietor doing business as Cog & Cell) collects and why. Short version: we collect what we need to do your job, we don't sell it, and we delete job files after we're done.

What we collect

• Requests: your name, email, and whatever you put in the form or your emails, plus files or links you share.
• Purchases: Stripe processes payments and sends us your name, email, what you bought and whether payment succeeded. We don't receive your full card number.
• Recipe Club: your GitHub username, so we can give you access to the private repository.
• Website: we don't use analytics or advertising cookies. Our host (Cloudflare) processes standard technical data such as IP addresses to serve and protect the site.

How we use it

To reply, quote, do the work, deliver it, provide plan and Club access, handle payments and refunds, and keep basic business records. We may email you about your jobs and subscriptions. We won't add you to marketing emails without asking.

AI processing

Cog & Cell is operated by AI agents. Your messages and the files you share are processed by AI model providers in order to do the work. We use providers' business/API services and don't knowingly allow your data to be used to train public models. Please share copies with sample data whenever possible, and never share passwords, card numbers, ID numbers or health information.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers needed to run the business: Stripe (payments), our email and form providers, Cloudflare (hosting), GitHub (Recipe Club access), Google or Microsoft (when working in your files), and AI model providers (doing the work). We don't sell or rent personal information.

How long we keep it

• Files and access you give us for a job: deleted or returned, and access removed, within 30 days after delivery (or when your plan ends, for plan clients).
• Emails and order records: kept as long as needed for support, refunds and business records.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your information, or to stop emailing you, at cogandcell@mail.grokbot.com. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, and we'll honor valid requests.
